RICS requires that members record at least an hour of ethical content every three years. This module will look at the five Ethical Rules and how these are carried into RICS Rules of Conduct. It will include practical commentary on key areas of risk.

Biography

David commenced practice in 1978 with the Inland Revenue and moved to private practice 10 years later.

He has been a Director of two practices since and with Lambert Smith Hampton for 28 years. There he has headed both Valuation and Lease Advisory Departments and the Oxford Office. Nine years ago he moved to “National Head of Standard Practice” and on moving to semi-retirement in 2023 became “Claims and Complaints Manager”.

David has a wealth of regulatory and lecturing experience which he brings to this module.
