This session will look at key considerations of resident-managed buildings, whether managed by a right to manage company or resident management company or collectively enfranchised management company. The session will include a look at important differences between companies limited by guarantees or shares, director and shareholder duties and financial implications. It will also look at critical enquiries to raise, reporting to the buyer and lender requirements.
